YOUR PART, DATES & TIMES ARE: _________________
Please remember that we are counting on you to complete the full experience for our visitors.
If you need to change shifts or become ill, please call Casting Director, Jessica 704-564-0330.
We are still in need of people to participate in the drama! Call your friends and neighbors to join you in the fun! Not all parts are speaking parts; you just need a simple costume!
ANYONE entering the city MUST be in costume or with a group. If you are checking on props, structures, taking care of animals or running non-emergency errands, a costume is a must.
Costume Check List: Please remember, it is December, nighttime and probably cold. Dress accordingly. Knit caps and layered tops under costumes are ok. Gloves are a must (natural colors please). Hand warmers are fine. Layer socks to keep your feet warm. Try 2 pairs of natural or nude knee high stockings instead of socks. The costume will be worn over warm layered clothing so it may need to be larger than normal size. You need to provide your own costume so check with your church leader for help. If your church is not participating, we will have extra costumes for you. Women of marriageable age should wear a head covering at all times. Marriageable age was 13!! Shoes are a part of your costume. Try natural colors, browns, black. Please NO white tennis shoes. Your shift time has a built-in 30 minute buffer; please arrive on time so the previous shift can leave at their scheduled time. If you are not scheduled for a shift, you may want to pray as you follow groups in costume. We will have food for the workers on site! Please, no gum chewing, and when drinking from cups/bottles, please keep them out of site of the guest. Also, don’t forget to throw away your trash. NO WWJD bracelets (Jesus was just born!), NO visible watches, NO class rings or any other jewelry with a date. Wedding rings are appropriate. Keep earrings simple, hoops, loops, but no gemstones or studs. Simple chain necklaces, (metal or with polished stones) are ok, but depending on where you are working, they could be a hazard. If you must wear make-up, please keep it very simple and very natural, NO colored nail polish. Wear glasses only if you have to have them. No sunglasses. (It’s nighttime) The most important part of your costume is your smile.
Thanks for being a part of this year’s celebration of the greatest gift! In all things pray!
Our desire is to present this event as a gift to our Lord and the community.
